Procurement Civil Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Selects and contracts suppliers for materials and subcontracted works related to Building and Infrastructure projects.
• Conducts market research in Greece and abroad to identify and evaluate suitable suppliers for materials and subcontracting.
• Prepares comparative assessment tables and evaluates technical and financial offers for procurement and subcontracting packages.
• Participates in the preparation, negotiation, and review of technical and commercial terms in supply and subcontracting agreements.
• Defines the required material specifications and prepares purchase orders and contractual documents.
• Maintains organized records of all technical and financial offers, as well as a structured supplier evaluation register.
• Monitors compliance with delivery schedules throughout the procurement cycle, from order placement to material receipt.
• Ensures adequacy and timely availability of required material stock for ongoing and upcoming project needs
• Conducts visits to suppliers domestically and internationally to assess materials and support selection decisions.
• Collaborates with Technical Directors and Project Managers to determine the most suitable materials for each project.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a procurement department or in construction site/technical office roles within Building or Infrastructure projects
• Very good command of English (oral and written)
• Excellent command of MS Office suite
• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD
