Engineering Manager

The role reports to Chief Engineering Manager and will be based in Gastouni, Ilia (Pummaro factory).

What You Will Enjoy Doing:

• Develop and implement utilities and energy efficiency management strategy to maintain/reduce energy costs
• Ensure the optimal condition of electromechanical equipment by aiming the continuous functioning of the production process with the least possible cost
• Ensure the implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance of the plant’s equipment, with the aim of maximizing its utilization and its maintenance cost
• Manage engineering related projects, making detailed plans to accomplish set goals
• Undertake the responsibility and act as a Safety Engineer for the plant
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards to safeguard the health of shop floor employees, external partners and visitors, but also the operation of the plant according to the company standards
• Responsible for the Safety, Health and Environmental related systems and standards
• Ensure the timely preparation of the related OPEX and CAPEX budgets and monitor expenses so as to cover the maintenance needs at the lowest possible cost and the continuous improvement of the production capacity of the plant
• Manage and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures set by the company, and the quality and safety of products within the set standards in the responsibility area
• Propose, plan and manage the processes for upgrading production systems and ensure that these processes are maintained in the team with the goal of increasing productivity

What Makes You the Ideal Candidate:

• University Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 2 - 4 years of working experience in industrial environment in maintenance / engineering, preferably in food industry
• Familiar with Lean & TPM tools and technics
• Excellent knowledge of MS-Office environment
• SAP knowledge will be considered as an asset
• Fluency in English will be considered as an asset
• Being a team player with strong communication skills
• Being able to lead & coordinate a team
• Being able to work under pressure
• Problem solving & multitasking ability
• Being reliable and responsible
