Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer to join our team for Power Plants projects in Athens offices.

As a Senior Civil Design Engineer, you will support Tekla model development, coordinate with designers and manufacturers, review structural studies, and carry out small-scale structural analysis and design tasks.

Your role will encompass:

• Review and validate incoming Tekla Structures models from designers and manufacturers, ensuring compliance with project requirements and communicating model constraints and needed revisions
• Review structural drawings, calculations, and reports prepared by subcontractors
• Prepare structural drawings in AutoCAD and Revit
• Perform structural analysis and prepare calculation reports for small to medium-scale structures
• Revise and update existing drawings to reflect design changes and maintain documentation accuracy
• Review project designs to ensure compliance with local building codes, international standards, and contractual requirements
• Manage communication with clients, vendors, and contractors, including participation in design and construction meetings

What you bring to the role:

• University Degree in Structural Engineering
• 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably within the energy or industrial sector
• Excellent knowledge of Tekla Structures
• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD (using standard drafting practices)
• Fluency in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
