ALUMIL, a leading player in the architectural aluminum systems industry, is excited to announce an opening for an R&D Systems Engineer to join our innovative team.
Your Role
In the position of R&D Systems Engineer, you will be a key contributor in developing and optimizing engineering solutions for our aluminum systems. Your responsibilities will involve working closely with interdisciplinary teams to implement cutting-edge technologies and enhance product performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Creates innovative profiles for architectural systems
- Develops new components tailored for architectural systems
- Evaluates component applications for effectiveness
- Designs machining and sections specifically for architectural systems
- Crafts 3D perspective collaborations between components and profiles within architectural systems
- Enhances existing systems by designing improved profiles and components
- Researches and establishes technical specifications for profiles and components using static and dynamic simulations (FEA), tailored to the system's application
- Collaborates with suppliers and production teams to address technical challenges related to dies and molds
- Prepares systems for certification, including technical documentation, overseeing sample preparation, sample transportation, and liaising with an independent laboratory (IFT)
- Conducts pre-certification tests on samples in the test chamber at the Kilkis facilities
- Maintains development timelines for product series
- Provides technical support to other departments regarding architectural systems
- Engages with suppliers to ensure compliance with technical specifications and enhances supplied components while verifying sample applications
- Establishes detailed technical specifications for systems
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (AEI - TEI)..
- Proficiency in design software, especially AutoCAD 2D / 3D
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a fast-paced team environment.
- Capability to manage multiple projects and prioritize accordingly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- A creative mindset and a strong sense of accountability in all tasks.
