About the role:

There is currently a job opening for a "Maintenance Controller", in our Maintenance Control Center. As a Maintenance Controller you will be responsible for the efficient coordination of AEGEAN and Olympic Air Line/Base Maintenance requirements, so that all maintenance actions, scheduled and unscheduled, are carried out in a timely, efficient, and trouble-free manner. If you are an aviation enthusiast and want to become a member of a highly skilled team that plays a crucial role in aviation maintenance, this role is for you.

 

What you will do:

  • Maintain and oversee all Line/Base Maintenance activities on the Aegean Airlines and Olympic Air fleets
  • Monitor fleet status to inform the IOCC regarding aircraft scheduled/unscheduled delays and limitations
  • Manage aircraft AOG situations (manpower and spares requirements, transportation etc.)
  • Provide assistance to line technicians and short-term planners, regarding technical issues raised
  • Assist flight crews about technical issues
  • Monitor and record all events of the Company’s maintenance activities
  • Highlight any identified deficiencies and inform the Technical/Line Management as soon as feasibly possible
  • Establish communication links between Line Maintenance and other technical or non-technical departments

 

You fit, if you cover the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering will be preferred
  • Fluency in oral and written Greek and English
  • Type Rated in at least A320F and/or EASA Part 66 license (B1 and/or B2) is considered an asset
  • 3 years of professional working experience in line maintenance
  • Proven experience in line maintenance tasks on A320F
  • Knowledge of AMOS software is preferred

 

And you have competence in:

  • Communicating clearly and effectively using a structured, organized approach
  • Demonstrating strong multitasking, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Being a team player with the ability to work effectively across teams
  • Committing to established guidelines, procedures, and best practices
