EVIOP-TEMPO S.A., a leading company in the production of industrial electrical goods for Siemens & Phoenix Contact is currently seeking to hire a “Quality Engineer”, based in Vasiliko Chalkidas. We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team. The position reports to the Quality Manager.
Objective of the Position:
As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality for our Siemens customer segment. You will oversee quality-related activities across the production process, implement preventive measures, and drive continuous improvement. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with headquarters, suppliers, and internal teams, contributing to innovative projects and shaping quality strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement quality methods (FMEA, RCA, 8D) to prevent failures and improve processes.
- Participate in daily shop floor meetings and present quality topics.
- Conduct internal and supplier audits, inspections, and capability studies.
- Prepare and maintain Test Plans, Control Cards, and ISIR reports for new and existing products.
- Analyze non-conformities and customer complaints; define and monitor corrective actions.
- Set up and track KPIs for quality performance and process improvement.
- Support headquarters projects (localization, relocation, new products, new processes, new equipment).
- Communicate effectively with Siemens HQ and suppliers on all quality-related issues, ensuring alignment and proactive problem-solving.
- Work closely with internal teams and Siemens support functions (Quality, R&D) on topics such as localization, relocation, introduction of new products, new processes, and new equipment.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote digitalization and data-driven quality improvements using modern tools and systems.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Manufacturing.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and related quality standards.
- Familiarity with quality tools such as 8D, 5Why, Ishikawa diagrams.
- Experience with quality management systems and statistical analysis tools is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, and team collaboration mindset.
- Knowledge of Lean principles or Six Sigma methodology is an advantage.
- English proficiency (B2 level or higher).
