Job Description:
METKA ΑΤΕ, as a subsidiary of METLEN, has long-term experience in the infrastructure sector, holding a seventh class contractor's certificate and now specializes in construction activities, undertking infrastructure projects such as road construction, certified buildings, railway, marine projects, etc., as well as solid and liquid waste management projects.

We are currently looking for a Site Engineer to join our Subsidiary company ELEMKA. ELEMKA's activities extend to the management of civil engineering projects in the energy sector, infrastructure and buildings as well as the provision of inspection and maintenance services on structures and special constructions.

Your role will encompass:

• Oversee on-site construction activities and ensure compliance with project specifications
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to meet project milestones
• Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to meet deadlines and budget constraints
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports (i.e. cost, comparison tables) and schedules
• Implement safety protocols and promote a safe working environment on-site

What you bring to the role:

• At least Bachelor Degree in Electricity or MEP works / Bachelor in Mechanical fields or MEP works.
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language.
• Previous experience (at least 5 years) as a site engineer will be considered as an asset.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all the stakeholders.
• Ability to work on own initiative and interact as part of a highly motivated team.
• Ability to prioritize and plan to effectively achieve goals and to be dependable in consistently delivering reliable results within deadlines.
• High level of accuracy with attention to detail.
• Must be able to work on-site in Attica region, Greece.
