Role Overview:
The Chief Engineer will oversee technical operations and maintenance across our Paros properties. This role ensures all hotel systems, facilities, and infrastructure function smoothly, supporting a seamless and comfortable experience for guests while leading and developing the maintenance team.
Requirements
Key Accountabilities:
•Oversee daily maintenance activities, ensuring all technical systems are functioning properly.
• Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance and timely resolution of technical issues.
• Lead, guide, and train the maintenance team, fostering collaboration, skill development, and adherence to safety standards.
• Monitor and maintain hotel equipment, systems, and infrastructure; assist with planning upgrades, replacements, and capital expenditure needs.
Requirements:
• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or equivalent technical background.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as Chief Engineer or in a similar senior technical role in 5-star hotels, preferably within international or large local hotel groups.
• Strong knowledge of hotel systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building management systems.
• Proven leadership, team management, and project planning skills.
Candidate’s Profile:
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and hands-on technical leader.
• Ability to work collaboratively with operations and management teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English; Greek language skills preferred.
