Olympus Marine Group, with headquarters in Miami, FL, USA is a leading maritime technical services provider specializing in electrical installations, retrofits, commissioning, and engineering support for vessels worldwide. Our team supports cruise ships and commercial vessels with high-quality, compliant technical solutions.

We are expanding our engineering team and are looking for a motivated Project Manager / Electrical Engineer to oversee marine electrical projects from concept to completion.

In this hybrid role, you will combine technical electrical engineering responsibilities with full-cycle project management. You will lead vessel projects, coordinate teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure all work meets maritime regulations and client expectations.

• Lead and manage electrical retrofit, upgrade, and installation projects.

• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.

• Coordinate teams, subcontractors, and onboard technicians.

• Serve as primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle.

• Review electrical drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation.

• Provide onboard technical support, troubleshooting, and commissioning.

• Ensure compliance with SOLAS, IMO, Class rules, and marine electrical standards.

• Prepare reports, progress updates, and project documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or similar.

• 3–5+ years of experience in the maritime, shipbuilding, or offshore sector.

• Proven experience managing technical or electrical projects.

• Solid understanding of marine electrical systems and regulatory requirements.

• Strong communication, coordination, and leadership abilities.

• Willingness to travel for onboard and shipyard assignments when necessary.

• Experience with cruise ships or large commercial vessels.

• Knowledge of automation, PLC systems, and power management.

• Familiarity with classification societies (DNV, ABS, Lloyd’s, etc.).

• PMP certification (not necessary but will be considered a plus).
