In order to support our rapid growth we are seeking to hire an experienced Destination Technical Manager.
The Destination Technical Manager is a professional responsible for overseeing all the hotels of our group located in the destination of Corfu. She/he Tracks the cost and progress of maintenance and projects so the company knows the state of the plant and when something needs repair. Inspects the preventive maintenance process, takes care of and repairs electrical, plumbing, ventilation, and air conditioning problems. She/He is responsible for planning and coordinating projects, as well as overseeing multiple teams.

Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Developing maintenance procedures and ensuring implementation
- Carrying out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
- Checking electrical and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure functionality
- Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
- Allocate workload and supervise upkeep staff
- Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary
- Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance
- Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
- Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
- Ensure health and safety policies are complied with
- Planning and coordinating all installations and refurbishments
- Managing the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards
- Inspecting buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations
Requirements
- University or Technical Institute degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- A master’s degree in a related field will be considered an additional qualification.
- At least 5 years of experience in managing hotel technical needs
- Excellent knowledge of technical specifications, safety standards, and environmental management practices
- Experience in Project Management Methodology
- Excellent knowledge of English language
- Experience in planning maintenance operations
- Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.
- Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
- Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment
- Ability to keep track of and report on activity
- Technical expertise: Strong knowledge of building systems, IT infrastructure, software development, and maintenance procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
- Financial acumen: Experience in managing and validating maintenance budgets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
