EVIOP-TEMPO S.A., a leading company in the production of industrial electrical goods for Siemens AG & Phoenix Contact, located in Vasiliko Chalkidas, is currently seeking to hire a Pre – Fabrication Foreman.
The position reports to Head of Manufacturing.
The mission of the position is to lead the team to execute production processes and plan resources effectively, ensuring high product quality, compliance with production timelines and safety standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Disciplinary and technical leadership responsibility as a foreman in an environment of automated, semi-automated and manual production.
- Leadership and control of the assigned team, regarding production processes and work instructions to ensure compliance with specifications for quality, quantity, deadlines and cost.
- Planning, assignment and rearrange personnel and machine utilization when needed to optimize resource usage and final output, aligned with production targets.
- Management of the production area (including implementation of 5S methodology and EHS standards), by acting as a role model, promoting a culture of safety, order and continuous improvement.
- Ensuring the monitoring of production processes and the use of KPIs properly when communicating with people. Acting in a proactive and direct way to make problems and obstacles transparent and when needed escalate them.
- Ensuring the product quality by following all instructions and procedures (e.g. self-inspection) and by fostering a mindset of total quality within the team.
- Conducting preventive maintenance according to maintenance plans to ensure machine effectiveness and protect tools. Contribute to technical availability and sustainable product quality through preventive measures.
- Acting as the main contact person for departments such as logistics, production planning, maintenance, and quality. Support optimization and further development of production based on lean principles and new technology approaches, including digitalization requirements.
- Following rules and procedures related to people management.
- Promoting and developing a strong spirit of teamwork among employees by encouraging ideas generation and active participation in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Taking care for training and development of people in a continuous basis.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Secondary Technical School the higher
- English communication skill level A or B or above
- High ability of organizing, coordinating and transparent planning of tasks
- Be familiar with applicable safety, health and environmental law and requirements
- Good social skills and confidence in handling challenging situations, combined with empathy, clear communication and creativity
- Strong sense of responsibility and a practical mindset.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn new topics
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Experience in working with SAP ERP systems
