Coils and strips can be produced in any colour to satisfy the most demanding aesthetic requirements along with several options of special functional coatings. At our factory located near Thiva, we operate aluminium coatings lines and supportive functions.
We are looking for a TECHNICAL SENIOR MANAGER to join our team in our plant at Thiva, Viotia.
Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Technical Senior Manager to manage the plant’s technical performance and drive operational excellence. The role is pivotal to ensuring the availability, reliability, and continuous improvement of all production equipment and processes, while driving the successful implementation of new technical projects and investments.As a key member of the technical team, you will play a central role in shaping the plant’s technical strategy, supervising maintenance operations, optimizing production efficiency, and leading a skilled technical team towards operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement the technical investment and improvement strategy, aligning with the company’s productivity and efficiency goals
- Develop and manage the annual technical projects plan and budget, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution
- Oversee the implementation of new projects and equipment upgrades, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and minimizing production downtime
- Lead process optimization and modernization initiatives, enhancing product quality, reliability, and cost efficiency
- Supervise all maintenance operations (mechanical, electrical, and electronic), ensuring reliability and preventive maintenance standards
- Monitor and report on equipment and production lines downtime.
- Design and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime and improve equipment availability.
- Define, monitor, and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to technical performance, maintenance, and process optimization.
- Act as a technical advisor to the Plant Manager, providing expertise in organization, maintenance planning, and emerging technologies
Qualifications
Mandatory
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience in production, preferably in aluminium or a similar manufacturing sector
- Excellent command of the English language; knowledge of German will be considered an advantage
- Proven experience in project management, maintenance operations, and team leadership
