Introduction about the Organization

With years of experience in aluminium rolling division, it is one of the most important aluminium industries in the European and international markets.

We are looking for a Supply Chain & Logistics Engineer, who will be responsible for managing the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of aluminium sheets of our Finished Goods Warehouse & Export Loadings Department, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. By managing a team of warehouse and loadings staff, the candidate will coordinate logistics operations and oversee loading processes to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction, with a strong focus on the digitization of existing processes.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage receipt, storage, picking and dispatch of finished goods
• Coordinate and oversee loading operations to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage of finished products
• Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures
• Collaborate with production, sales, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations
• Logistics OPEX monitoring and CAPEX implementation
• Monitor and continuously improve warehouse and logistics efficiency by utilizing relevant KPI’s
• Train and supervise warehouse staff involved in handling, loading and dispatch operations
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment following the 5S methodology

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in the field of Engineering (5 years degree)
• Additional qualifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus
• Minimum 3-5 years proven experience in warehouse management or logistics, preferably in heavy metal or aluminium industry
• Good knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and best practices
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in inventory management software (WMS), ERP systems and MS Office 365 suite
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
