In this role, you will support the Process Automation/Marine & Ports organization and its customers during the proposal process. Each day, you will serve as a key technical and customer service resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, preparing final documentation and ensure the process is completed from end-to-end.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Preparing offers and managing administrative procedures of sales processes (offer tools, invoices, letters of credit, cost calculation, offer proposals, communication with accounting etc.) based on ABB’s state’s guidelines.
- Communicating with the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB’s offering and strategy and supporting cash collection and project management activities, when needed.
- Applying and implementing procurement standards, tools, and processes in your area of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability
- Coordinating and planning the provision of necessary resources, spare parts and logistics.
- Ensuring that all parties fulfill all contractual obligations and business requirements.
- Managing all required reporting and documentation and overseeing the timely registration of necessary data in the system.
- Coordinating a seamless Spare Parts order process from quotation to invoicing and cash collection.
- Collaborating with other ABB units and teams to harmonize activities.
- Building sustainable customer relationships to ensure local client growth, satisfaction, and retention
- Offering technical advice and solutions on inquiries from customers/channels/Sales Specialists about ABB products/systems/service/applications.
Qualifications for the role
- University Degree in Engineering or other field related to Marine Industry
- 2-3 years of experience in customer support ideally in marine/shipping section
- Excellent command of Greek & English Language
- Strong Computer literacy (e.g. MS excel, Outlook, SAP)
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
- A Collaborative, Customer-oriented approach
