The company offers the opportunity to those who wish to express interest in the position of “Condition Monitoring Engineer” | “Μηχανικός Ανάλυσης Κατάστασης”, for its premises in Skouries Chalkidiki. The position will be reported to the Director, Operational Excellence of the Asset Management department of Skouries project.
Main Responsibilities:
· Lead advanced condition monitoring programs (vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, ultrasonic testing).
· Guide, train, and support a team of condition monitoring technicians, ensuring high-quality data collection and analysis.
· Provide continuous feedback to develop your team’s skills and capabilities.
· Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
· Coordinate daily monitoring activities to align with operational and maintenance goals.
· Analyze data to identify equipment issues and recommend actionable solutions to prevent downtime.
· Optimize lubrication schedules, ensuring the right lubricants and application techniques are used.
· Monitor lubricant conditions through oil sampling and analysis to detect wear, contamination, or degradation.
· Prepare clear, detailed reports highlighting risks and recommended corrective actions.
· Maintain precise documentation to support ongoing maintenance and reliability improvements.
· Stay up to date with technological advancements and refine monitoring and lubrication practices.
· Participate in root cause failure analyses and reliability-centered maintenance studies.
· Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and reliability teams to align efforts with production schedules.
· Communicate technical findings clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
· Certifications in condition monitoring will be consider as a plus.
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in condition monitoring and lubrication engineering within the mining, oil and gas, or process industry.
· Experience supervising technical teams and managing condition monitoring programs.
· Committed to safety and continuous improvement.
· Knowledge of condition monitoring techniques and lubrication best practices.
· Excellent leadership and team development skills.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
· Very good knowledge of MS Office.
· Familiarity in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and data analysis tools.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English.
· Ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
· Driving license.
