We invite you to become a member of our dynamic team as the Supervisor of the Window Testing & Certification Laboratory within one of our subsidiaries. You'll play a crucial role in managing our state-of-the-art testing laboratory, ensuring that our windows and architectural systems not only meet but exceed regulatory standards and quality benchmarks.
Your Role
As the supervisor of the testing and certification laboratory, you will manage laboratory operations, supervise testing procedures, and ensure compliance with national and international standards. Facilitating and orchestrating both initial assessments and formal evaluations for the certification of aluminum systems. You will work closely with engineering and quality assurance teams to maintain the highest product standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise window testing and certification processes to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Manage laboratory staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Coordinate and conduct laboratory tests, including structural, thermal performance, and air/water infiltration tests.
- Analyze test data and prepare comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to develop new testing protocols and methodologies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and testing standards.
- To facilitate communication and coordination of certifications between our clients and the certification body.
- Share your findings from the measurements with our customers and offer insightful recommendations for enhancements.
- Input the essential daily documentation into the ERP system.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in testing and certification of building materials, specifically windows or similar systems.
- Strong knowledge of testing standards related to building materials.
- Proficient in data analysis and technical report writing.
- Experienced in 2D and 3D design software like AutoCAD.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
