Following our business strategy for market development we are looking for:

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Main duties and responsibilities will include:

• ensuring the smooth operation of plant equipment through the design and implementation of all mechanical maintenance activities;

• applying the maintenance schedule of the mechanical equipment and to contribute to the treatment of faults and malfunctions by providing technical support;

• diagnosing potential problems in machinery or equipment and implement the appropriate solution using the necessary tools and techniques to prevent future breakdowns/problems;

• planning and implementing the mechanical maintenance schedule with a view to the proper operation of the facilities, always in accordance with the annual budget;

• participating in equipment fault analysis and propose solutions;

• establishing new and evaluate all existing mechanical maintenance procedures for their effectiveness, recommending additional improvements;

• cooperating closely with the maintenance planner to jointly develop preventive maintenance plans, as well as contribute to the planning of extended repairs;

• coordinating the required tasks (contractors, suppliers) to achieve the reliability goals of the plant;
• assisting in determining spare parts needs and ensure spare parts received are in accordance with plant specifications;

• supervising and controlling the day-to-day mechanical maintenance tasks by creating reports and closing related notifications in SAP;

• ensuring that safe work rules and practices are understood and applied consistently by employees and contractors of the mechanical maintenance department.

The ideal candidate shall possess the following skills & qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering – Member of Technical Chamber of Greece;
• 3 years experience;
• Solid knowledge of mechanical design and machining practices;
• Very good command of English – both written and spoken;
• Excellent computer literacy – (Excel, data bases, Word, Power point etc.);
• Good knowledge of design software CAD;
• Work ethic and spirit of teamwork and collaboration;
• Strong organizational and analytical skills;
• Ability in managing teams;
• Ability in multitasking, time management and work under pressure;
• Experience in the industrial field will be considered as an advantage;
• Fulfilled military obligations (for male applicants).
