The UNISON Group, in the framework of its strategic expansion, is looking to include a Health & Safety Engineer to its constantly growing team. The aforementioned position will be located at our Client’s site in Aspropyrgos. The client concerned is one of the largest industrial companies in Greece.

Job Responsibilities

•  Fully implement Client’s EHS Management System in conjunction with UNISON EHS policies and procedures.
• Follow all Client/ UNISON Health & Safety policies, procedures, protocols, rules and manuals. Ensure they adhere to and are regularly reviewed, updated, and communicated to all parts involved.
• Participation in incidents investigation, near misses and unsafe working conditions. Review the circumstances of any work injury, illness, and dangerous events, identify any corrective action.
• Issuing Work Permits and reinforce the necessary corrective measures and maintaining archive for audits.
• Conducting & evaluate all sites’ EHS Risk Assessments and implement relevant requirements.
• Carry out trainings and coaching of new and existing personnel on internal or other EHS Technical Instructions, Policies and Procedures. Ensure full and accurate EHS training records are maintained.
• Reporting according to the procedures (Inspections/audits).

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience in an industrial environment, preferably in manufacturing environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Certified OHS Professional is considered an advantage
• Excellent knowledge of English. Proven use of Business English is required (via occupation in working environments where English is utilized)
• Excellent PC Skills with proven proficient use of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word
• Driving License
