Technomar Shipping Inc. is looking to hire qualified individuals and employ them in the Projects department as "Project Coordinators". The projects undertaken include modifications on the ships of the company, combined repairs, additions / installation of special equipment, upgrading of Mechanical and/or Electrical equipment, etc.

Key responsibilities

• Cooperate and assist the Project Manager and Project Engineers of the department to properly carry out the pending tasks and expedite projects completion.
• Log the enquiries to & from ships and contractors, related to the already initiated projects.
• Update the projects status and the relevant electronic filing.
• Communicate with contractors, Classification Societies and workshops to follow-up on pending matters of each project.
• Follow up on the department's schedules, appointments and presentations.

Job requirements

• Diploma from Technical University or equivalent, in Greece or abroad, in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Fluent English (Writing, Speaking, Comprehension). Knowledge of a second language will be a plus.
• Working experience in the Maritime Industry will be a plus.
• For male candidates, the fulfillment of military service is a Must.
• Software literacy: MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, Rhino etc.
