Your role in more detail:
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:
- Program self-sufficient SCADA applications based on standard software modules and guidelines of our company, as also writing PLCs code, and design screens for HMI devices
- Parameterize, and commission devices of a project, including checking and testing the IO connections to the automation systems, setting-up simple field instruments, conducting no-load and full production tests, training the customer’s personnel, and supervising the after-sales service support
- Write operation manuals based on company guidelines and templates
Your Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science/IT
- Knowledge of programming in VB, VBS, VC, SQL, JavaScript, Python
- Programming knowledge in Siemens WinCC environment
- Programming knowledge in TIA Portal
- Familiarization of the GE iFIX environment will be a plus
- Familiarization with the Siemens Classic Simatic Manager will be considered as an asset
- Strong knowledge of networking, IP, subnetting, VLANS
- Knowledge of MS Office (mainly Excel, Access, Power point)
- Knowledge of English and Greek language, spoken and written
- Interpersonal and communication skills
