In Evergrow S.A. we are looking for a Head of Production, on behalf of our clint, a leading company in the production of industrial electrical goods for big multinational companies of the sector. The company is located at Vassiliko - Chalkida.

The Head of Production is responsible to ensure the smooth running of all production lines and the quality of output, in alignment with the corporate strategy, principles and objectives. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of all production procedures, has the ability to lead team members towards maximum performance and distinguishes for the decision-making and the problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Designs and follows a future oriented strategy in close cooperation with management; regularly reports changes’ progress
• Develops and implements the production systems and processes, aiming to achieve the strategic vision of the company, as well as short and long-term business objectives
• Develops competitive, reliable and high-quality manufacturing, including metal and plastic prefabrication and manual and automated assembly, so as to ensure customer satisfaction
• Drives continuous improvement process for developing an excellent manufacturing with Lean Manufacturing and Industry 4.0
• Involves production’s stakeholders and cooperates with all the parties involved in order to ensure sustainable development
• Ensures health and safety in the work environment, in alignment with the national and international institutional frame and the company’s EHS standards
• Prepares and monitors operational and production budgets, expenses, investments, ensuring cost effectiveness and resources’ optimization
• Liaises with operational and functional managers (i.e. supply chain, logistics, etc) in order to understand and prioritize needs and plan actions and activities
• Leads the teams of production supervisors and manufacturing engineers towards high level performance and objectives’ achievement; gives guidance and supports their professional development; evaluates employees’ performance and recommends actions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical - Technical Engineering
• At least 5 years of previous experience in Manufacturing
• High level of technical awareness and perception
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing
• Advanced communication in oral and written English
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Knowledge of SAP
