ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, Trade Logistics, is seeking an Automation Systems Technician, for the company`s premises at Schimatari and Oinofyta, Greece.

Trade Logistics, part of FOURLIS Group of Companies located in Schimatari & Oinofyta (Logistics centre for brand names IKEA, INTERSPORT & Holland & Barrett), is looking for Automation Systems Technicians. The position reports to the Automation Systems Coordinator and its primary scope is maintenance & repair of the Company’s Automation Systems, ensuring their effective operation.

Main Responsibilities / Tasks:

• Solve Automation system’s errors.
• Execute technical intervention on faults of the system equipment.
• Perform daily and periodical preventive maintenance work on the system (including periodical cleaning of conveyors and automated racking equipment).
• Work on "Special Needs Station" of the system, for inventory check, merge or defragmentation.
• Communicate with Hotline in Austria for complicated system errors.
• Comply with Health and Safety rules during work, in accordance with Company’s policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Competencies Required:

• Technical School Degree in Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Automation Engineering or related field.
• 1-2 years of previous working experience in a similar position.
• Good command of the Greek and English language, both written and verbal.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word).
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills & team spirit.
• Ability to work in 2 rotating shifts.

Qualifications considered as an asset:

• Working experience in Logistics Sector.
• Additional knowledge in the field of Mechatronics.
• Good command of the German language, both written and verbal.
