What you will do:

• Co-ordinate and lead a team of engineers of different disciplines (civil, electrical, mechanical engineers), set clear goals and expectations, and provide coaching and guidance.
• Manage plant design activities in any stage of the project, lead the assigned engineering team to maximize economic results, safety, operability, and quality.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development and operations to ensure project success.
• Actively participate in the technical evaluation of the Main Equipment Suppliers and BoP Contractors.
• Co-ordinate the development of new technical specification in accordance with Greek regulations and international applicable Standards.
• Carry out the technical activities for the definition of industrial investment costs and project planning in development phase, including site technical and environmental studies and grid compliance analysis liaising with relevant BD, O&M and Procurement Units.
• Ensure that the engineering part of the projects is delivered on time, within scope and budget.
• Provide field engineering support and corrective solutions to construction sites, and supervise external contractors design development, during execution and commissioning phase.
• Organize trainings and provide guidance to the engineering team and other disciplines for technical related topics.
• Conduct value engineering analysis to find and implement efficiencies, throughout the project development, engineering, and execution phases.

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
• At least 7 years of experience in engineering, including a proven track record of successful project management.
• Experience in the renewable energy industry, including solar, wind, hydro, battery storage.
• A track record in delivering leadership and motivating to employees and third-party contactors; able to influence others through practical knowledge and experience.
• Knowledge of relevant software tools and simulation software.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
