Terminals and SIM engineer
Position responsibilities:
- Collection of marketing, technology and security requirements for SIM cards development
- Working with the SIM cards supplier to develop, test and document SIM card prototypes
- Management of the SIM cards lifecycle, from the supply chain to their operation in the company's network
- Management and operation of systems and applications related to the SIM cards and mobile terminals (Over-the-Air, eSIM and Device Management) in cooperation with suppliers and subcontractors
- Testing of mobile handsets and terminals in cooperation with their vendors to achieve compatibility with the company's network
Necessary skills:
- Very good knowledge SIM/(e)SIM technologies and the relevant specifications (3GPP 11.11, 11.2, ETSI 102671, GSMA SGP.21, 22 etc.)
- Knowledge of JavaCard technology
- Very good knowledge of architectures and specifications of Over-The-Air & Mobile Device Management applications
- Very good understanding of IP technologies
Necessary qualifications:
- At least 4 years of experience in projects related to SIM cards and their management tools
- University Degree or relevant, in Engineering / Technology / Informatics direction
- Experience in terminal management projects (smartphones, CPEs) and their supply chain will be considered an asset
- Experience in managing large-scale technology projects
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Fluency in English
