Job mission:

The Head of Institutional Research, Accreditation and Quality Assurance is responsible for leading and managing institutional and programmatic accreditation efforts, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accrediting body standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role supports strategic planning, assessment, and quality assurance processes across the institution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accreditation
• Serve as the primary liaison with accrediting agencies.
• Coordinate and oversee institutional and programmatic accreditation processes.
• Lead the preparation of accreditation self-studies, interim reports, and site visit coordination.
• Monitor compliance with accreditation standards and timelines.
• Maintain documentation and records required for accreditation and audits.
• Quality Assurance and Improvement:
• Develop and implement systems for continuous institutional improvement.
• Coordinate the process of reviewing academic programs and administrative units.
• Oversee the Registrar’s Office to ensure the efficient management of students (student information system, registration, grading, degree and enrolment verification, academic records management, transcripts, compliance, graduation auditing, and awarding of degrees).
• Provide training and support for faculty and staff on quality assurance practices and accreditation standards.
• Analyze and report data related to institutional effectiveness and student learning outcomes.
• Oversee the efficient use and the frequent update of the School’s data management platform
• Strategic Planning and Institutional Effectiveness:
• Collaborate with Department Heads and top management to align assessment and accreditation with strategic goals.
• Develop and manage policies related to institutional quality and assessment.
• Participate in institutional research and data-driven decision-making.
• Communication and Reporting:
• Prepare and present reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure transparency and communication regarding accreditation status and requirements.
• Oversee Student Services including the Career and Alumni Office

• Lead the transition to a relevant data management platform

Requirements and skills:

• Master’s degree required (Doctorate preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in higher education, with 3+ years in accreditation or quality assurance roles.
• In-depth knowledge of accreditation standards and quality systems. Knowledge of the UK and /or US university systems is appreciated.
• Experience with data analysis tools, institutional research, and assessment practices.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, project management, and communication skills.
