PeopleCert is currently looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Training Team Leader to join our team. This pivotal role will be responsible for evaluating training needs, creating and delivering a training development plan in order to increase employees’ productivity.

As a Senior Training Team Leader, your tasks will include the following:

  • Develop a schedule to assess training needs for Customer Service agents, Online Proctoring agents and Online Speaking Examiners (or other roles in the organization).
  • Consult with other trainers, managers, and leadership team in order to designate training needs.
  • Design and create webinars based on business needs.
  • Create training strategies, initiatives, and materials.
  • Deliver training sessions to the new agents and upon request of the leadership team.
  • Perform refresh and new products training sessions.
  • Conduct web training sessions to customers.
  • Take part in the designing and the implementation of all Training Department’s tools.
  • Conduct surveys and evaluations to ensure training materials are effective and employees are retaining the information.
  • Take part in the designing and the implementation process of Training Department’s tools (Knowledge Base, Manuals etc).
  • Review employee performance (through their emails, chats and incoming calls) and learning, giving them feedback and identifying new training needs.
  • Monitor Training Department’s KPIs and report to the Management.
  • Monitor and collaborate with quality assurance associates identifying areas of improvement.
  • Coordinate and monitor enrollment, schedules, costs, and equipment.

What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English Literature/ Education/ Business Administration/ Human Resources or related field.
  • 5 years’ previous experience as a trainer, corporate training specialist, or related position.
  • Work experience as an English tutor will be considered an asset.
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
  • Experience with technologies and best practices for instructional manuals

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to supervise multiple projects
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)

Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check (the results of which must be acceptable to PeopleCert and the HO) prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.

If working on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include:

  • A basic or enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check
  • Right to Work in the UK check (including nationality, identity and place of residence)
  • HO security check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) or Counter Terrorist Check (CTC)
  • Financial background check
  • Employment reference check.
  • If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK.

In addition, if personnel are required to speak to SELT candidates they must be appropriately skilled in English language and, where SELT services are provided anywhere in the world (outside of the UK), the official language of the relevant country.
