Basic Function and Scope:

Performs all accounting duties for an Accounting Office, such as recording accounting entries, bank reconciliations, filing documents, making payments to vendors and issuing receipts to customers, preparing monthly payroll, submitting all relevant taxes and employer's contributions, making financial reports to management.

Duties Performed:

• Performs day to day accounting operations: issues receipts/ invoices, processes vendors' invoices and payments, reconciles bank accounts daily, communicates with vendors/clients for reconciliation purposes.
• Communicates with banks regularly.
• Prepares monthly accounting and financial reports for the administration.
• Prepares monthly payroll and makes payments of the relevant salaries.
• Assists in the submission of EFKA contributions, payroll taxes, VAT and freelancers' taxes.
• Performs and monitors hiring and firing procedures via Ergani.
• Monitors and submits VIES invoices.
• Is responsible for My Data entries and tax machines and monitors relevant deadlines.
• Other duties might be assigned by the Director of Finance.

Independence of Operation:

Performs duties according to standard instructions and established accounting procedures. Work is regularly checked by the Accounting Manager and the Director of Finance.

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree in Business Administration or Accounting.
• Five years minimum experience as an accountant.
• Member of the Economic Chamber of Greece – Accountant scale A' or B'
• Computer literacy – skill level 3.
• Fluent Greek and good knowledge of written and spoken English.
• Very good knowledge of “Ergani”.
• Display commitment to safeguarding and protection of children.
