E-Commerce Manager
The role
The E-Commerce Manager is responsible for driving online revenue growth and enhancing the hotel chain’s digital presence across all owned and third-party channels. This role oversees the performance of the brand website, online booking platforms (OTAs), and digital marketing initiatives, ensuring optimal conversion, visibility, and profitability. The E-Commerce Manager works closely with the marketing, revenue management, and IT teams to deliver a seamless online guest journey and maximize direct bookings.
Main responsibilities:
- Manage the hotels, as well as the brand websites, ensuring content is up to date, engaging and optimized for SEO.
- Liaise with web developers and digital agencies to enhance website features, booking flows, and analytics tracking.
- Regularly analyze web performance and implement improvement plans.
- Set up all digital campaigns and online widgets to achieve maximum ROI and conversion metrics.
- Track digital campaign performance metrics, such as Google Ads, Meta Ads and other analytics.
- Create digital marketing initiatives and ensure optimal conversion and visibility.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, digital agencies and technology partners.
- Assist with the guest’s loyalty programs and online engagement initiative.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in hotel e-commerce or another related field.
- Experience in the hospitality sector is desirable.
- Knowledge of OTA management and channel managers.
- Understanding of SEO, SEM and Google Analytics.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools such as Google Ads and Meta Business Suite.
- Excellent communication skills for guest interactions and team collaboration.
