PeopleCert is looking for the Head of Creative, to lead the Creative team in the Product Development function, for Business & IT Products. You will work with proprietary content and be part of creating history for global best practice products such as ITIL, PRINCE2 and DevOps.

This role will help in developing the best Learning Products, Services and Experiences. Deliverables include Official Books, Training Materials, Learning Videos thus familiarity with any type and format of content is required.

As a Head of Creative, your tasks will include the following:

1. Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, primarily InDesign, Illustrator and After Effects: Mastery of layout design, typography, typesetting and other elements specific to publishing educational content. Mastery in designing and developing learning video content.
2. Familiarity with Educational Theory/eLearning/Learning Management Systems: Understanding of pedagogical approaches, learning objectives, and learner psychology to design effective educational materials.
3. UX/UI Design Skills: Ability to design interfaces that are intuitive and learner-friendly.
4. Content Development: Proficiency in creating assets like official books, official training materials, and related digital content such as booklets, pocket guides, reports, infographics, interactive elements, and other educational materials.
5. Version Control: Skill in using software/tools to manage different versions of design projects.
6. Cross-Platform Design: Ability to design for various media and platforms (visual/audio format for web, mobile, and print).
7. Data-Driven Design: Ability to analyze user interaction data to continuously improve the effectiveness of educational materials.

What we look for:

• 5-10 years experience in leading creative teams (of 5+ members)
• 10+ years graphic designing experience, supported by a strong portfolio of illustrations/graphics/videos, with learning products
• Excellent InDesign, Illustrator and After Effects skills, with AI/automation understanding (vs doing tasks manually)
• Experience with Articulate tool
• Video editing and DTP skills, ideally with eLearning
• Experience with other tools, such as Canva, will also be evaluated
• Excellent command of English is required (C2 level certification desired, LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be a plus)
• Advanced computer literacy is required. ECDL Advance level certification is desirable

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)

Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check (the results of which must be acceptable to PeopleCert and the HO) prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.

If working on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include:

• A basic or enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check
• Right to Work in the UK check (including nationality, identity and place of residence)
• HO security check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) or Counter Terrorist Check (CTC)
• Financial background check
• Employment reference check.
• If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK.

In addition, if personnel are required to speak to SELT candidates they must be appropriately skilled in English language and, where SELT services are provided anywhere in the world (outside of the UK), the official language of the relevant country.
