Our Deals professionals work side-by-side with senior members of our clients’ teams to create tangible and sustainable value from their M&A transactions. Our team is consistently involved in high profile M&A transactions covering a wide range of Industries. Our client base consists primarily of large Greek and multinational corporates, private equity funds and financial investors.


Due to the continued growth of our practice and consistently high demand for our services, we are now looking for an Experienced Associate in our Deals team, based in Thessaloniki.



Overview:


At Deals you will have the opportunity to work on high profile M&A transactions, to increase your visibility to senior members of our clients management team and build lasting relationships as their trusted advisor. You will also become part of a high achieving, collaborative team which focuses on knowledge sharing, thought leadership and the continuous development of its people through internal and external training and upskilling courses.


As a member of our team you will:

  • Be part of the project teams, assisting in the preparation of pitches and presentations;

  • Assisting in the preparation and execution of transactions, from initial analysis of information to transaction strategy development and execution;

  • Participate in proposal development efforts for client engagement opportunities;

  • Facilitate internal and external team and client meetings;

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key client contact;


What we are looking for

  • At least 2 years of previous working experience in one or more of the following areas: investment banking, corporate finance, corporate banking, private equity, Financial Due Diligence, Business / Financial Restructuring or Financial Planning and Analysis positions;

  • Bachelor & postgraduate degree from a top-tier university in Engineering, Mathematics, Accounting & Finance, Financial Management or Economics;

  • Previous experience in Financial Advisory sector, banking or management consulting industry and a relevant professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CFA) completed or at final stages would be highly appreciated;

  • A good knowledge of applicable accounting and reporting standards (e.g. IFRS, Greek GAAP, Greek chart of accounts) and understanding of related risks in the applicable financial statement areas;

  • Excellent business sense and commercial awareness;

  • Excellent financial and business analytical skills;

  • Client centric mindset, commitment to provide excellent quality work and build long term client relationships;

  • Military services fulfilled;
