We are currently seeking ambitious team players with good analytical skills to join our Finance & Operations Risk Transformation team in our offices in Thessaloniki, as IFRS Consultant/ Senior Consultant.  

 

Your Role and Responsibilities

Within our FORT Finance team in Thessaloniki, we are currently looking for an IFRS Consultant / Senior Consultant who will:

  • Join a dynamic team, passionate about helping our clients' finance organization
  • Work in a collaborative team environment to analyze issues and address client challenges related to consolidation and technology
  • Will be trained and coached to develop your skills, finance knowledge, and management capabilities
  • Develop expertise in specialization and build a reputation as a business advisor
  • Contribute to firm initiatives by supporting the development of proposals, thought leadership, campus recruitment, and market-facing initiatives

 

You will drive our client’s operations to the next level through:

  • Improving the closing, consolidation, and reporting cycle
  • Executing the financial consolidation processes via temporary support or managed services
  • Operating in the consolidation / complex accounting / IFRS department of our clients
  • Defining the systems strategy and developing system requirements for the selection of new consolidation software
  • Implementing new consolidation software

 

Our Requirements

  • Master's degree in economics or engineering or equally by experience
  • Experience with consolidation tools such as Cognos Controller, SigmaConso, SAP BPC, Hyperion, Tagetik.
  • At least 0-1 year of experience in preparing consolidated figures
  • Strong financial background and 2+ years of experience in at least one of the following areas: finance process optimization, closing, consolidation & reporting, external audit
  • Technical accounting background and IFRS knowledge 
  • Hands-on person, result-oriented and quality-driven and you have outstanding analytical skills
  • Team player that can also work independently
  • Professional proficiency in English is mandatory and either French or Dutch can be a real plus
  • Audit, Consulting or Project Management experience is an asset
