About the role
Join our friendly team in Athens or Messini, Peloponnese and take part in a variety of exciting architectural, masterplanning and design projects. The ideal candidate is a proactive and creative architect, engaged with the latest architectural, design, and cultural concepts, theories, and philosophies able to deliver innovative, high-quality work. You will be responsible for the creative design, under the guidance of the Team Lead Architect of your assigned projects, whereby both your aesthetic and technical competencies will be effectively applied. Within your work we will rely on your creative sensibilities and feel for aesthetics, always taking direction from the PEOPLE identity as a starting point.
Key Responsibilities
You will support the senior designers, architects and project managers in the following:
- Develop architectural designs from concept through detailed construction documentation.
- Lead the design development of assigned projects from concept through detailed design stages.
- Produce and coordinate architectural drawings, presentations, and documentation.
- Contribute to creative direction, design reviews, and internal discussions.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including consultants and engineers.
- Support junior team members where required.
- Participate in client meetings and support presentations.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with BIM workflows.
- Apply strong design thinking with solid technical resolution.
- Manage time, priorities, and deliverables across multiple projects.
- Stay up to date with current architectural, design, and cultural trends.
- Site visits and coordination with contractors.
What we are looking for
Required attributes:
- Degree in Architecture.
- 3+ years of proven experience in architecture in residential and hospitality projects.
- Strong Proficiency in design software:
- AutoCAD (2D), Revit or Archicad
- SketchUp or Rhino
- Adobe Creative Suite/ Adobe Photoshop, and 3D tools (ideally 3ds Max & V-Ray) - Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent command of English (both written and spoken).
- Knowledge of Greece's Building Codes and legislation (NOK).
- Strong visual, communication, and presentation skills (both verbal and visual).
- Ability to deliver high-quality results through effective cooperation.
- Ability to prioritize workload, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Usage of Grasshopper and Enscape is considered a plus.
