About the role
Join our friendly team in Athens or Messini, Peloponnese and support the successful delivery of a diverse range of construction projects. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented and proactive, with a solid understanding of project management processes and construction workflows. You will be responsible for the project coordination and monitoring of your assigned projects, ensuring that timelines, budgets and documentation are properly managed. Within your role, you will act as a key link between internal teams, external partners and site operations, always aligning with the PEOPLE identity and project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
You will support the project managers, architects and site teams in the following:
- Prepare project planning deliverables, including initial project reports, schedules and budgets based on design drawings, contractor offers and internal data.
- Support in coordination of procurement and contractor processes, including preparation of Invitations to Bid, collection and comparison of offers, and ongoing communication with contractors, consultants and suppliers.
- Monitor project progress and costs, tracking schedules, identifying delays or risks, and managing variations and change orders in line with the approved budget.
- Maintain project documentation and reporting, including drawings, contracts and technical files, preparation of progress reports, and follow-up on project meetings and actions.
- Follow up on site progress and project close-out, including site visits, status reporting, and preparation of close-out documentation (outstanding issues, warranties, manuals).
What we are looking for
Required attributes:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or other engineering discipline.
- 3+ years of proven experience in on-site management of residential and hospitality construction projects.
- PMP Qualification or other PM relevant certifications is considered a plus.
- Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Autodesk AutoCAD.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English (technical and professional).
- Experience with interpretation of engineering plans, survey notes and legal descriptions.
- Ability to clearly and accurately summarize and portray information for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience in leading negotiations and resolving disputes.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Understanding of contract & project risk management.
