HVAC Designer – Senior Level Professional

BCT GROUP is a Leading company in Cleanroom Facilities development (design, turn-key construction, validation) for Pharma, Electronics, Advanced Materials and Space Industry. The company has a separate business unit focused in Cabling Industry providing solutions for niche technology applications such as HV/EHV cables Degassing, extruder lines Cleanrooms and production Lines Process Cooling.

Following the expansion needs of the company in greater geographical scale, BCT is looking for HVAC Designers at Senior Professional Level for the Proposals Department and the Engineering Studies/Design Dpt.

 The candidate shall prove competence to:

• Understand complicated electromechanical systems used in Industrial HVAC Applications and Process Heating, Cooling and Gases De-aeriation including systems electrical part and instrumentation & control
• Have a good understanding and experience in other MEP systems (Compressed Air, Purified Water, Fire Fighting, Laboratory gases, BMS, High Current Electrics etc)
• Have an excellent knowledge in psychometrics, water and air systems sizing and designing, HVAC control
• Perform research in relevant technical or scientific documentation to investigate best practices for resolving complicated systems or to obtain useful knowledge needed in technical solution resolution
• Analyze the RfQ and be able to find in short times the most efficient technical solution to successfully meet customers/project requirements
• Elaborate project costing including equipment, materials, installation works etc
• Prepare Proposals Presentations for successful pitch
• Prepare well structured technical reports and proposals documentation
• Lead a team of 5-7 juniors and mid level engineers in accomplishing the above responsibilities

Candidate pre-requisites:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (for Greece: NTUA, AUT, TUP, TUC)  
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Designing Company and at least 1 year with Senior Role leading teams
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is considered an advantage
