Πλήρης απασχόλησηWe are seeking a talented and motivated Development Manager to join our multi-disciplined development team, throughout the various project stages, liaising with the development, project management and operational teams. His/ her role is key to the project for the repositioning of a 1000 key resort hotel (in Halkidiki) and future assets in the hospitality sector.
Responsibilities:
- Support in the definition, development and management of the project execution plans.
- Contribute to the preparation of business plans for development projects and monitor Kpi’s.
- Support in drafting / monitor of the project Capex and Time-schedule.
- Research new, innovative technical solutions that help reduce costs.
- Liaise with the Project Manager, provide feedback and convey all client concerns related to development.
- Establish a post-development / construction evaluation.
- Develop presentations and reports in respect to development.
- Contribute in the selection, negotiation and appointment of development consultants and contractors.
- Review and approve RfP’s for the selection of the consultants.
- Identify risks/issues and opportunities related to the development function and propose mitigation actions.
- Participate in the evaluation of new assets, perform preliminary due diligences, contribute to the preliminary capex estimate and time-schedule forecasts.
- Contribute to writing the brand manual- technical standards, FF&E, OS&E etc
- Contribute to the development of the business, identifying improvement opportunities and improve efficiencies.
- Generate or produce internal Development reports and follow up the Monthly PM and bank reports.
- Liaise with other departments like Operation, Legal and Compliance, Procurement to generate synergies and make sure that all the stake holders are aligned with the project´s milestones.
- Coordinate development meetings (agenda, materials review, coordination between teams with the PM support), both internals and externals
Qualifications:
- Strong academics in Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Architecture or Civil Engineering ( Master’s degree).
- High level of proficiency in Excel and Power Point ( BIM experience)
- Up to 5 years’ experience in development positions which could be a form of a development, project management company or contractor (Experience in the hospitality sector will be considered a plus.).
- Proficiency in English and Greek. Additional European languages are an advantage.
- Good understanding of all disciplines (Design, Project Management, Cost Control).
- Understanding of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance responsibility).
- Ability to manage the project time-schedule and Capex.
- Strong qualitative analytical skills, having the ability to research, analyse and present financial data.
- Demonstrate passion for Development and Real Estate.
- Ability to delegate tasks to wider professional team and ensure delivery of requirements against deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Self-motivated and proactive with a proven ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, coping with changing priorities.
- Confident in working and addressing unstructured and new situations, taking on new challenges.
