Structural Engineer

CSolarSteel is an innovative company producing steel structures for Photovoltaic projects in Greece and abroad. Production facilities are located in Thiva and head offices in Marousi, Athens.

We are looking for a mid-level experienced, structural engineer to design the structures and liaise with the factory for their production.

Job Description:

• Design, adapt and optimize PV steel mounting supporting system structural design

• Structural analysis & design of PV steel structures

• Understands basics of site layout, site drainage and grading design

• Liaise with the production manager for fixing the production schedule and optimizing the delivery schedule

• Liaise with sales manager to assist in predesigns and cost analysis

Necessary Skills :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

• Familiar with major regulations and industry codes and standards for standard design work in designed discipline (Eurocode 0,1,3,EAK2000)

• 4+ years of structural engineering experience in steel design

• Experience with structural analysis

• Experience with Autocad 2D

• Working knowledge of various structural analysis and design programs

• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and act independently

• Fluent in English

Desirable skills :

• Experience with Robot Structural Analysis software

• Experience with thin-walled sections (λεπτότοιχες διατομές)

• Experience with finite element and BIM software
