Junior/Assistant Contracts Engineer
Job Description and Responsibilities
- Assist Contracts Department management with pre-contract review and management activities as required
- Review of Tender documents
- Preparation of subcontracts and services agreements
- Maintaining proper filing of all Subcontracts documents
- Ensuring the correct application of the contractual terms agreed with subcontractors and consultants including handling of important contractual correspondence
- Attendance to contractual meetings with Suppliers, Consultants and Subcontractors where required
- Develop skills in post- contract administration
- Flexibility for travel and on- site assignments in accordance with requirements
Skills and Abilities
- Fluency in spoken and written Greek and English languages
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office suite, etc.)
- Excellent communications, team-oriented and interpersonal skills
- Be highly organized and responsible
- Attention to details
- Self-motivation and direction, with a strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution
- Additional skills will be given appropriate credit
Qualifications - Experience
- University or equivalent Degree in Quantity Surveying/Engineering or related discipline
- Newly graduates with up to 5 years proven post qualification experience in similar posts
- Experience with FIDIC or FIDIC based contracts is desirable but not essential
- Have fulfilled military obligations (if applicable)
