Canaves Collection, a renowned luxury hospitality company in Santorini, Greece, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Guest Experience Manager to join our team. As a Guest Experience Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an exceptional stay at our four luxury properties: Canaves Ena, Canaves Oia Suites & Spa, Sunday Suites, and Canaves Epitome.

You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the guest experience, ensuring that each guest receives personalized attention and support throughout their stay. Working closely with the front desk, housekeeping, and dining staff, you will ensure that all guest requests and preferences are met and exceeded. You will have the opportunity to create unique experiences and tailor services to each guest's individual needs, leaving a lasting impression of luxury and hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the guest experience throughout their stay, ensuring that all needs and requests are met and exceeded
- Direct staff that performs the following duties and will also perform these duties on their own: welcomes and registers hotel guests, explaining the accommodations and establishing credit or method of payment.
- Checks guests out of the hotel, preparing and explaining the bill. Responds to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guest needs and requests and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all company's policies.
- Resolve any guest complaints or issues promptly and to the guest's satisfaction
- Regularly communicate with guests to ensure their expectations are being met and solicit feedback for improvement
- Train and mentor staff in providing exceptional service and maintaining a guest-centric approach
- Assist with reservations and concierge services when needed
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar guest-facing role within the hospitality industry
- Tourism or Hospitality degree
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate and inspire teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus)
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with grace and professionalism
- Exceptional attention to detail and exceptional organization skills
- A passion for creating memorable guest experiences and delivering personalized service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of adaptability
- Computer literacy (Windows Word, Excel, Internet)
- Previous experience with PMS systems. Opera and/or Fidelio knowledge is a requirement.
