Customer Service Representative

ICAP Executive Search & Selection, on behalf of our client, a leading multinational company operating in the technical sector, we are seeking to recruit a Customer Service Representative in Athens.
 

Customer Service Representative – 5906/CSR/ESS/GR


Job Overview:

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the customer service functions by managing order processing in SAP, preparing quotations, handling customer communications, claims management, posting goods, processing transportation invoices, closing of shipments and invoicing. Will also support the sales team to increase efficiency in their daily work with customers in the field, identify customer potential and customer needs, in CRM administration, maintaining data quality, manage quotation process to ensure fluent business processes and relations with customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Process customer orders accurately and in a timely manner in the internal system.
  • Communicate with customers to collect order details, confirm specifications, and provide updates.
  • Prepare and issue price quotations in coordination with the sales team.
  • Support the sales process by following up on offers and customer requests.
  • Handle basic customer inquiries regarding products, orders, and delivery schedules.
  • Cooperate with internal departments (sales, logistics, finance) to ensure smooth and efficient order fulfillment.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer records, orders, and communications in the database.
  • Deliver high-quality service to customers, ensuring a professional and solution-oriented approach.
  • Controls receivables, to ensure on-time payments
  • Management of customers classified to require remote handling
  • Ensures data quality (e.g. avoid doubling of projects/ accounts/ contacts, etc.), maintains data in CRM and tracks potential of existing projects in CRM by providing data to sales team
  • Administrative support for marketing campaigns / events
  • Support for sales in relation with customers: annual contracts, notifications to the customers
  • Archives and maintains business documentation with regards to customers

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of professional experience in customer service, or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Familiarity with CRM and order processing systems; knowledge of SAP is considered an asset.
  • Excellent data entry skills with a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Strong organizational abilities, work independence and initiative.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Customer-centric approach combined with problem-solving skills.
