MRP Controller

Knauf Greece is looking for an experienced and motivated MRP Controller to join our team. As a MRP Controller, you will be responsible for handling the relationship between the customer, product demand, production inventory and others and make sure that the relationship is balance between them. You will also actively participate in the forecasting process with the sales, the raw material planning and the production scheduling at all plants in order to meet all the requirements needed both by the business and its clients. 

Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all data are maintained in MRP
• Budget the stock value and maintain it
• Work with the logistics department to optimize the stock level, classify it and make sure that the stock value meets the needed availability for the clients
• Work with the logistics department to make sure that technical specifications of the stocks are correct
• Classify the products according to the set categories in MRP
• Coordinate demand forecast evaluation with sales in detail and on a regular basis
• Work with the procurement department in monitoring raw materials and finished goods purchase orders thus ensuring on time deliveries and stock optimization
• Determine key MRP controlling KPIs & develop BI reports
• Conduct regular plant visits to coordinate with production and validate that all products are right on schedule and meet all warehousing standards and KPIs
• Identify process bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement projects in a timely manner
• Be a strong advocate of MRP processes and align local procedure to corporate guidelines. Key user for SAP MRP module, with responsibility for training new and existing users in the system
• Provide constructive feedback

Ideal Candidate :

• BA in Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, or similar relevant field
• Minimum of 3 years working experience in the supply chain, planning or controlling department preferably in a large industrial company with multiple production sites
• Proven experience with SAP MRP
• Experience in continuous improvement programs and lean management methodology skills
• Excellent command of English
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Travel availability
