About the role
We are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join the Data Team at Alter Ego Media. In this role, you will focus on analyzing content performance, audience and engagement, commercial and advertising initiatives, and operational KPIs, transforming data from multiple sources into actionable insights. You will work closely with teams such as Content, Editorial, and Commercial, supporting critical decisions through data-driven analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and define BI requirements: Collect, document, and translate recurring and ad hoc business needs into clear requirements for data integration, metric definitions, and visualization.
- Build dashboards and reporting: Design and deliver reliable reports, self-serve dashboards, and analytical tools that provide actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Own KPIs and drive proactive analysis: Operate with high autonomy as a trusted analytics partner; define, monitor, and interpret KPIs (e.g., reach, engagement, retention, conversion, and revenue contribution) and communicate recommendations clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Standardize reporting : Improve BI processes across teams, challenge and refine existing metrics, maintain well-documented dashboards/definitions, and support continuous learning and adoption of data-driven practices.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Econometrics, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar).
- At least 4 years of experience in BI/ analytics (experience in media, marketing or tech is a plus).
- Advanced knowledge of Python and SQL (data wrangling, analysis, automation).
- Strong experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or similar).
- A proactive, autonomous working style and comfort with changing priorities.
- Demonstrated experience in partnering with senior stakeholders and translating analysis into clear narratives and recommendations.
