Job Description

Our SAP department emerges as a premiere SAP partner & integrator in the EMEA market, encompassing the entire spectrum of SAP offerings (hardware procurement, SAP licenses, and customized services). Netcompany's SAP team works on innovative projects, utilizing the latest, cutting-edge SAP technologies (SAP BTP, S/4HANA) and industry-specific solutions (ISU and IS-OIL), across a wide range of sectors (Consumer goods, Education, Utilities, Telcos, Banking etc.)

As a SAP Basis Consultant you will:

• Assist in daily administration of SAP systems (ECC , S/4HANA , SAP RISE etc.)
• Perform user and role management across different platforms (SAP for Me , SAP S4hana etc.)
• Support transport management processes for several customers
• Assist in monitoring jobs, system logs, dumps, and performance indicators
• Maintain basic configuration tasks for on-premises and cloud environments ensuring adherence to best practices and compliance requirements
• Help troubleshoot RFC connections, background jobs, and printing issues
• Assist senior Basis consultants during upgrades, patches, kernel updates etc.
• Document procedures, incidents, technical changes and operational guidelines, and best practices to enhance team efficiency and knowledge sharing
• Work closely with functional and development teams to resolve issues and support SAP project implementations, enhancements, and integrations with other systems

Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• 0-1+ year of experience in SAP Basis administration
• Basic understanding of SAP Basis concepts
• Familiarity with Linux/Windows operating systems
• Understanding of HANA or any relational database (SQL basics a plus)
• Ability to analyze issues and follow troubleshooting steps
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment, balancing remote work with in-person teamwork and knowledge sharing.
• Enthusiasm to learn and grow in SAP Basis
• Adaptability to change and a continuous learning mindset to keep up with evolving SAP technologies.

It would also be a plus if you match some of the following:

• Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate).
• Familiarity with cloud-based SAP solutions and working with cloud environments AWS ,Azure and etc
• Shell scripting (Bash/PowerShell)
• Understanding of networking basics (ports, connections)
• Knowledge of security/authorization fundamentals
• Internship or academic project involving SAP technologies
