The Role

We are looking for a BI & Data Engineer to join our growing Data & Analytics team and contribute to enterprise Data Warehousing project. In this role, you’ll help design and build data pipelines, manage data flows from ERP and other business systems, and contribute to the development of our Azure & Databricks-based data platform & BI reporting environment. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in modern cloud data technologies while collaborating with experienced engineers and analysts.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks
• Support the development of SQL-based transformations and data models in Azure Synapse and Databricks SQL
• Participate in integrating and managing data from ERP, and other systems
• Collaborate in the creation, maintenance, and optimization of Power BI reports and dashboards, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and proper data governance
• Help monitor data workflows, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data quality and consistency
• Collaborate with business and analytics teams to deliver accurate and reliable datasets and KPIs
• Contribute to documentation and process improvement within the data engineering function

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
• 1–3 years of experience in data engineering, BI development, or a related role
• Strong knowledge of SQL and data modeling principles
• Familiarity with Azure data services (Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake) or willingness to learn
• Exposure to BI tools
• Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data integration workflows
• Basic experience with Python,
• Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Entersoft ERP or other ERP systems
• Hands-on experience with Power BI (DAX, data modeling, report design)
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, or data governance concepts
• Knowledge of retail or e-commerce data environments
