Bright Group, a rapidly growing business group with a strong focus on business consulting & technology, is seeking a detail-oriented Business Data Analyst.

About the role: The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, be comfortable working with data visualization tools, and show interest in evolving toward Project Management, QA Engineering, or Operations Engineering roles for public sector projects.

Responsibilities:

Primary – Business & Data Analysis:

• Perform system and process analysis
• Participate in quality assurance and system testing support
• Support business process documentation and process improvement initiatives
• Manage and support issue tracking systems and version control systems
• Assist with system testing and quality assurance activities
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver solutions aligned with client needs
• Monitor and report on project progress

Secondary – Support of Development and QA Activities:

• Participate in test automation processes (e.g., Selenium or similar tools)
• Support the development and maintenance of internal tools when needed
• Ensure consistency with software architecture principles and development methodologies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (University level) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• At least two 2 years of relevant professional experience in business analysis, system analysis, data analysis, QA, or support
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• Completed military obligations (for male candidates, if applicable)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Proven experience in SQL and database management

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with business analysis and modeling tools
• Understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, PMBOK, etc.)
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN)
• Exposure to issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, GitLab)
• Knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium or equivalent)
• Basic understanding of software architecture and modern development technologies.
