Job Description

In this dynamic environment, we are now looking for a talented Financial Analyst with great analytical skills and a strong business acumen for our team in Aspropyrgos, Attica. The candidate will be part of the Finance Team and support the FP&A Manager with FP&A and Controlling activities including financial reporting and management of financial metrics.

This role provides a great opportunity to use your strong financial skills alongside with your good partnering skillset to collaborate with other departments and support the decision-making process.

Your responsibilities

• Preparing the month-end/year-end closing process of financial results
• Supporting the process of preparing, analyzing and presenting standardized monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports that provide key insights to management teams
• Partnering with sales and marketing team to provide financial management support and financial insights including P&L analyses per company/brand/product category/SKU
• Monitoring client agreements and trade promotional investments for each brand
• Liaising with accounting department to ensure that all accounting work aligns with financial analysis standards
• Assisting in yearly budgeting and forecasting process of sales revenues and expenses by determining planned business goals
• Monitoring monthly financial results to explain variances between actual and planned results
• Providing analytical support for special projects and ad-hoc reviews to support business performance

What we look for

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; postgraduate degree in Finance or MBA is desirable
• 3+ year experience in financial departments and/or FP&A teams
• Prior experience in FMCG company would be ideal
• Proficiency with MS Office and advanced Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, Advanced formulas etc.)
• Strong analytical skills-ability to conduct detailed financial analysis
• Very good interpersonal and communication skills
• Well organized, self-driven, flexible, and able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• English language competency-both written and oral
