On behalf of our client, ELPEDISON, we are looking to recruit a Digital Development Business Partner.

This role offers a direct contractual association with Elpedison, ensuring that you become an integral part of our client's payroll and contribute your skills to their esteemed organization. Please be aware that our role is exclusively focused on overseeing the recruitment process.

The company

ELPEDISON, with its two privately-owned power plants in Thisvi (Voiotia) and Thessaloniki, with a total installed capacity of 820 MW, uses natural gas as fuel and ensures a clean and continuous electricity flow, based on a highly environmentally friendly power generation.

The position

Κey liaison between the Division and Business units, ensuring smooth collaboration and efficient communication of the goals, objectives and new requests. Responsible for managing respective teams which aim to accomplish the generic and more specific goals of the Business Unit(s) he/she serves, through Digital initiatives.

Main Duties / Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with units of the Division and the BUs, to identify demand, business needs, manage and prioritize new and ongoing projects and requests.
  • Liaises with the Division units and with IT to perform feasibility studies, high-level cost, resource and effort estimations etc.
  • Partners with the BUs and other units of the Division to prioritize demand and ensure project execution to meet expectations.
  • Aligns resources, including HR (e.g. developers, architects, etc), tools and methodologies in collaboration with Business Analysts from BUs.
  • Regularly informs the Division management and BU Managers on the status of the Digital programs and projects of the BUs he/she supports, including budget management, progress and milestones, resources allocation, potential risks and mitigation measures.
  • Stays up to date on technological advancements, new digital trends and solutions, proposes new methodologies, tools and technologies to the BUs he/she serves.
  • Supervises the execution of readiness assessments to the BUs he/she serves, aiming to ensure its readiness to implement digital programs and projects.
  • Performs analyses to support demand management and opportunity identification activities.
  • Monitors the whole software development lifecycle for the digital projects, engaging the proper resources per stage.
  • Guides and supports the dedicated teams, based on BU Lead directions, during solution implementation lifecycle.
  • Maintains the workflow diagrams and other models of enterprise business activities, with reference to the use of digital solutions and automation tools. Using these models, (s)he analyses the potential impact of digital projects on business processes.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration Statistics, Management Information Systems, Engineering or relevant field.
  • Master’s Degree in relevant field will be considered an advantage.
  • At least 6 years of proven experience in relevant role.
  • Experience in Banking & Trading or Energy sector will be consider as an asset.
  • Very good understanding of business operations and the needs of business users.
  • Experience in project planning and execution, project management, project lifecycle.
  • Experienced in agile management practices.
  • Awareness of IT service management processes, information security practices and data governance principles.
  • Familiarity with solutions in Hybrid environments (On-premise, Cloud) and integration strategies.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and oral.
  • Continuous learning and desire to stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in the field.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities.
