Spa Therapist

Key responsibilities

The Spa Therapist provides high level of service according to Leading Hotels of the world and an efficient and courteous service to all guests, in order to maximize the overall guest experience and introduce them to the hotel’s way of lifestyle.

• Perform Spa Treatments (i.e. Holistic Massage, Hot Stones Massage, Body & Facial treatments) tailored to the needs of our guests
• Advise the customer of suitable massages and other spa services according to their wishes and needs, and perform massages according to client’s condition
• Keep up with the market and propose new products and treatments
• Be aware of all hotel facilities, services, events and offers, and communicate appropriately to guests in order to enhance their overall stay
• Be knowledgeable on all spa services and retail items, communicate effectively with the guests and focus on retail sales, adhering always to the service standards of the resort
• Maintain retail sales targets and build returning businesses
• Maintain the grooming and personal hygiene standards at all times during the shift
• Act as an ambassador of the Bill & Coo hotels and the Wellness Spa Suites, in terms of service excellence, work ethics, responsibility, flexibility, confidentiality and achievement of an outstanding guest experience
• Respect all security, health and safety regulations and fire procedures, and report any hazards
• Follow hotel policies, procedures and LHW service standards

To be successful in this role, your experience should include:

• Excellent command of the Greek and English language
• Knowledge of a third language (i.e. German, French, Italian, Russian, Spanish, etc.) will be valued accordingly
• Diploma/degree from technical school or private college in Physiotherapy, Aesthetics, Massage Therapy or other related discipline
• Good knowledge of computers (Microsoft office, power point etc.) and spa software
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Spa Therapist, in prestigious spa facilities within a 5* hotel environment
• Excellent physical condition
• Pleasant personality, positive attitude, and a sales-oriented mind-setting
• Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and ability to demonstrate passion
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with other team members and company personnel
• Good understanding of relevant health and safety regulations and procedures and capable of adhering to operating and maintenance company standards
