Front Desk Officer


Jungheinrich Greece is seeking a Front Desk Officer who will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring a professional, welcoming, and efficient front-office experience at the company’s new offices in Nea Kifisia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist visitors, clients, and guests in a professional, courteous, and friendly manner
  • Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and presentable at all times
  • Register visitors, issue access badges, and notify relevant employees of arrivals
  • Monitor and ensure proper use of the company’s digital access card system
  • Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls promptly and professionally
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, couriers, mail, and deliveries
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and meeting room bookings
  • Coordinate parking arrangements for visitors and staff as required
  • Maintain and update visitor logs, call records, and internal databases
  • Coordinate procurement, inventory, and replenishment of office supplies
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure efficient daily office operations
  • Handle minor complaints or issues with professionalism and discretion, escalating when necessary
  • Assist with travel arrangements, courier services, and hospitality coordination when required
  • Provide logistical support for internal meetings, company events, and corporate functions

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with a professional attitude
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and remain composed in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Fluency in the local language and a strong command of English
  • 1-2 years of experience in a front desk, reception, customer service, or administrative role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented mindset
