We are looking for an International Private Medical Insurance (IPMI) Operations Assistant, to join our dynamic team!

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive International Private Medical Insurance (IPMI) & Travel Operations Assistant to support our operations team in delivering exceptional service to our sales channels and local & global clientele. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in the administration and coordination of international health & travel insurance policies, ensuring efficient handling of policy servicing, claims processing, and customer support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support claims processing by verifying documentation, tracking claim status, and escalating complex issues when necessary.
  • Assist with the administration of IPMI policies including policy issuance, renewals, and endorsements.
  • Liaise with insurers, underwriters, brokers, and third-party service providers (e.g. hospitals, medical professionals) to ensure timely and accurate policy servicing.
  • Maintain and update policyholder information and ensure data accuracy in internal systems.
  • Provide prompt and professional support to clients regarding coverage, benefits, claims, and administrative processes.
  • Generate reports on operational performance and client servicing activities as required.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and international insurance regulations.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and equivalent experience in Insurance, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in insurance operations, preferably within international or private medical insurance.
  • Alternatively, 1–3 years of experience with a third-party claims administrator (TPA).

Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent command of both English and Greek, written and spoken.
  • Strong understanding of international health insurance products and services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document handling.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural and fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with insurance CRM systems (Bluebyte).

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification of Insurance Agent or Insurance Broker (by Greek authorities) is a plus (will be required in the future if not present)
  • Additional languages are a plus.
  • Experience working with international clients or expatriate populations.
