Key Responsibilities
CPDC
The CDPC is a member of the Global Data Protection Network facilitated by the Group DPO. His / her main role will be to act as the first level of contact within the country on data protection matters. The CDPC acts as the interface between the Group DPO and the Country. The CDPC is the ambassador within the Country of the data protection culture and of the policies, procedures and processes developed by the Group for the protection of personal data. In this role, the CDPC will liaise with: the CGM, the SEE GDPR & Compliance Manager, the local External Legal Counsel, SEE Europe Legal Counsel, and also in Europe the Core Team and the Group DPO. The CDPC is also the Customers’ Data Protection first point of contact in case of an initial enquiry regarding processing/Rights of Access. Key responsibilities may include:
- Communicate and train employees on data protection
- Monitor the supplier contracts in need of a Data Protection Addendum (DPA) and ensure that new projects/activities are subject to appropriate data protection assessments
- Reporting: Country Data Protection Compliance Dashboard, submittal of Maturity Assessment reports 2/year, Yearly Country Data Privacy KICS, Monthly KCIs
- Action Plan: Work to actively increase the Maturity Plan and drive an action plan & execution
- Participate in the compliance initiatives launched by the Group Data Protection Office. Advise and follow up on the compliance action plans for the local entity
- In the respective country scope, utilize global processes and guidelines and adapt for local use when necessary. Issue guidelines and advice on data privacy subjects where needed
- Inventory: Maintain the update of the inventory(ies) of data processing activities
- Work with the information security team and the Group Data Protection Office to address any privacy related incidents
- Collaborate with the Group DPO in case of request or investigation by a Data Protection Authority
- Be the point of contact for Data Subjects (Consumers), Customers, Suppliers and third parties on GDPR topics
HEALTH & SAFETY SUPPORT
- Work closely with the H&S Champion to put in place actions & procedures and maintain or further progress the Country's safety level.
- Reporting: Scoring Point System report to Zone EHS leader - a quarterly review on specific assesment KPIs. Take the necessary actions, provide proof of actions or create an action plan when necessary.
- Communicate across the entity to all levels (senior management to entry level).
- Delegate tasks internally and provide evidence of H&S action plan completion rates.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Law / Business Administration or similar
- Basic understanding of data privacy laws and regulations
- Certification in data privacy or information security (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT) will be considered as a plus
- Strong analytical skills and ability to manage large data
- Proficient & fluent oral and written command of the English language
- Excellent organizational and process creation skills
- Ability to manage cross-team projects, work and coordinate with multiple departments
- High confidentiality and integrity
- Strong and assertive communication skills
